In recent collections Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy the Italians are very set on the Leo-Print. But in the coming season, he has come up with new and can insperieren diverse, flamboyant prints on the dresses, skirts and tops to print.
The autumn and winter 2011/2012 collection is strongly influenced by Givenchy on a hard contrast. Most clothes were in shirts worn, which were buttoned to the top. The length of skirts and dresses ended just above the knee. The contrast to this strict skirt length, the transparent panels on the legs and upper body, where you could see a lot of bare skin.
Riccardo Tisci was Rottweiler, panther, flowers and nude pin ups on the garments printed. The slightly oversized knit sweaters were elaborately embroidered with small pearls. Above all, silk and velvet in this very dark collection have been processed. The floral prints in green and purple but it did not look too bleak.
